# What is Jasper Vault Score?

**Jasper Vault Score (or simply, Score)** is a composite indicator that reflects how users interact with Jasper Vault over time.

It is **not a token**, not a tradable asset, and not a short-term reward mechanism.Instead, Score is designed to record:

* Real trade of Jasper Vault products
* Usage of Perpetuals Protect to hedge your real market risk
* Long-term participation across different stages of the protocol
* A user’s historical footprint within the Jasper Vault ecosystem

> In short: **Score is not about how much you trade, but how you participate.**
