# ↕️ Degen Options: A Step-by-Step Guide

## **Introduction to Degen Options**

Degen Options is Jasper Vault’s flagship 30-minute options product, designed to simplify options trading. Degen Options allows users to trade with minimal friction while experiencing the benefits of high leverage. With its one-click trading mechanism, even beginners can easily participate in options trading without worrying about intricate pricing models or volatility analysis.

## **Why Trade Degen Options?**

* **Simplified Trading**: No need to understand complex options pricing models—just choose a trading direction and size.
* **Short-Term Trades**: Degen Options expire in 30 minutes, allowing for quick trades.

## **How to Trade Degen Options on Jasper Vault**

### **1. Connect Your Wallet**

1. Visit Jasper Vault and connect your wallet
2. Select the **Bitlayer**, **Arbitrum**, or **Base** network depending on your preference

### **2. Place a Trade**

**Go to DEGEN tab for 30 mins options**

* **Select Trading Direction:** Choose between a **Call** Option (price goes up) or **Put** Options (price goes down)
* **Select Trade Size: D**egen Options offer predefined contract sizes (e.g., **0.01 BTC**, **0.05 BTC**, or **0.1 BTC**)

### **3. Pay the Premium & Execute Trade**

* Choose the premium currency (e.g., BTC, USDT) and pay the corresponding premium.
* Confirm and execute the trade&#x20;

### 4. Monitor and Check Your Performance

After executing a trade, you can track its progress at any time:

* You can monitor your position right after placing a trade or click on the **Positions** tab to view it.
* The trade is **automatically settled** upon option expiry.
* Profits from **Calls** are in the underlying asset (e.g., BTC, ETH), while profits from **Puts** are in **USDT**.
* All trade details, including **gross profit, net profit, premium paid, and ROI**, can be found in the **Positions** tab, which is divided into three sub-tabs: **All, Open, and Expired**.

### **5. Optional: Fund Your AA Wallet For Gas-Subsidized Transactions**

To enjoy **gas-subsidized** transactions:

* Click on **Enable Gas Subsidy** on the **Degen** tab
* **Transfer** assets from your Externally Owned Account (EOA) wallet to your Account Abstraction (AA) wallet

**Important Notes:**

* If your EOA wallet has insufficient funds, **first transfer funds to your EOA wallet**, then move them to your AA wallet
* All transfers are **secure**—only the owner of the EOA wallet has access and control of the AA wallet, ensuring the safety of your funds
* You can choose to send all your assets back from your AA wallet to your EOA wallet anytime anywhere
